About our Glampground
Our story
Our journey began in early 2020 when we happened to watch Nature of Love on the Hallmark Channel. “Glamping” was a new concept to us, and one that was very appealing, both as guests and potential operators of such a destination. We were both excited about the idea, but it was the very early days of the pandemic, and no-one knew what was going to happen long-term or even short-term, so we soldiered on with our 9-to-5 desk jobs.

Big changes
Five years in and having experienced a number of major life events, it was finally time to make a serious change in our lives. With glamping on our minds and knowing our current property was not a good fit, we started the process of selling our house and looking for a suitable replacement that could support a glamping operation. Our goal was to find the perfect property, so we didn’t limit ourselves to our current state of Vermont, but expanded to also include locations in New Hampshire, New York, and Massachusetts. After months and months of searching, the perfect place came on the market in New York, a location that had plenty of land, a place for us to live, and easily accessible.
